Meet the Team Series: Introducing, Sarah Brooks

She’s been with the Nitschke family for the past decade, supporting the needs of our real estate agents, property management, clients, and community. A day in the office for Sarah includes processing listings, finalising contracts, researching and developing property data, and identifying ways to better serve the people in Nitschke’s nucleus.

“No two days are ever the same and there’s always something to learn,” Sarah said. Both events and real estate are both fast-paced, on the edge of your seat industries – something which energises Sarah.

The People and Culture Manager is as fun as it sounds. She’s on the front line, interacting with clients and community members, identifying their needs and exploring new ways for Nitschke to be of service. Setting the tone for the team and counselling the most productive ways to communicate and interact. For Sarah, it’s about asking, how do we change lives, and applying that thoughtfully and intentionally into every touchpoint.

And, Sarah knows this community like the back of her hand. She’s an avid tennis player in the summer, having played for Crafers since she was eight years old. Her favourite post-tennis activity is visiting a local winery with friends and family. “We have some of the best cellar doors in the world. How could you not love living here?”

When asked which were here top wineries, she said: “Bird in Hand and Barrister Block. They’re both walking distance from my house.” Sparkling wine, gin, decks and tennis make summer the best time of year for Sarah. “I’m a cold frog,” she laughed.

Sarah will take a drive for a good shopping session, to places like Pony in Charleston and Living by Design in Balhannah. Little sweet and savoury treats at the Balhannah or Lobethal bakeries make the trip even better.
Sarah represents the Hills, living and breathing the people and community culture.

To book a meeting with Sarah Brooks, contact her direct. She’s happy to have a chat about the Adelaide Hills community, lifestyle, and people. Whether you’d like to discuss a specific town for your Adelaide Hills property, advice on buying vs. renting, and demographics about your favourite area, Sarah is happy to help. It’s people that make up the fabric of a community, after all.
