The Hills loses one of our best, Annabelle Greenslade.

On Wednesday, 14 July 2021, Annabelle Greenslade sadly passed away. Annabelle meant so much to so many. She was a loving mother to her three children Rachael, Sarah, and John, a grandmother, and Nitschke’s award-winning property consultant for over 20 years.

As Mount Barker Football Club’s first President, treasurer and life member of the club, Annabelle embraced the position as the first female heading up the organisation, helping to progress and equalise the culture. Annabelle never stopped contributing to the Adelaide Hills community, and why her legacy will be long felt in the heartbeat of the Hills.

‘Belles’ also played a pivotal role in our 2006 merger, from Elders to Nitschke, up until her retirement in 2020. Her name is known and loved by our entire team, old and new while always being a wonderful colleague, friend, and part of the family. We’re thankful to have so many wonderful memories and we’ll be thinking of you whenever we’re cheering Mount Barker on. Rest in peace, Belles.

To the Greenslade family and everyone who was touched by Annabelle’s generosity, our thoughts and hearts are with you.
