Round up the family and head on down Victor Harbor beach to peruse market stalls and finish the night off with fish and chips on the sand. These markets are open between 6.00-9.00pm, so it’s a perfect family outing to kick off the weekend. Haven’t finished your Chrissy shopping yet? Do it here.
2. Normanville NYE Pageant

What better way to send off 2018 than with your friends, family, sun and beach? Oh, and fireworks, of course. Normanville always does New Year’s Eve in style and this year is no different. It’s a family-friendly, not-for-profit community event that unites locals and tourists in one festive celebration.
3. Indoor Creative Craft Market, Victor Harbor

5. Fleurieu Film Festival, S.C. Pannell

We can’t talk about the Fleurieu without mentioning our world-class wine region, McLaren Vale. But it’s not all bubbly, ladies. Bring the family down to of S.C. Pannell Wines for the film festival that uses art to explore important topics such as climate change. There will be wine for the adults, don’t worry.
