In 2018, in a joint initiative, Nitschke Real Estate merged with LJ Hooker to strengthen our offerings in the Fleurieu Peninsula. The office services over 250 residential and commercial properties. Next month, we’ve made the decision to merge our two locations, to build up a cutting-edge headquarters in the Mount Barker office.

It’s a positive move that culminated in us successfully navigating the COVID-19 crisis.
“I want to convey to our clients and community, what an exciting move this is (for real estate in the Adelaide Hills). While we’ve enjoyed having a physical presence in Strathalbyn and the Fleurieu Peninsula, most of our team spends their time on the road visiting clients. Mount Barker is only a short drive away, for those clients who prefer to a face-to-face service,” Michael Nitchke said.
“We think it’s going to be more convenient than ever, as our clients just need to give us a call to book a time for their property manager or property consultant to visit their home or meet at our head office. In between, they’ll have 24/7 access to our online portal.”
Our cohesive team spent three months working remote in response to the pandemic lockdown, had to adjust to a new way of working, and fast. “We implemented a range of new systems and tools, such as virtual open houses and Zoom appraisals. This whole situation helped us be able to serve the Fleurieu and wider Hills region from the one, primary headquarters in Mount Barker.”
This comes at a perfect time for Nitschke, as we celebrate our 20th year in the Adelaide Hills property market.

The Nitschke team will transition out of the Strathalbyn office throughout August, with ‘by-appointment’ services available for the entire month.
