The Hills Football League welcomes first ever President (and property sales gun), Annabelle Greenslade.
Announcing the news at the 2019 season launch, to over 150 club supporters, players and officials, the Mt Barker Roos are the first in the league to introduce a club President, with Annabelle, a long-time club Treasurer, eagerly stepped into the position as the first ever female heading up the organisation.
It’s a significant celebration with the opening of the club’s new change rooms for female players. Funded by the SANFL and the State Government’s Female Facilities program, the rooms are named after Annabelle and Franke Howe – paying homage to the club’s first female President and Mr Howe, who played a pivotal role in pushing women’s football.
“I’m honoured to accept this wonderful opportunity to be part of a transitional time in the club’s history (and the greater Hills community). Football unites us and is ingrained in the Hills’ spirit,” Annabelle said.
“I can’t wait to see many of our agency’s clients out there, round the grounds. This is part of what makes the Hills such a special place to live,” she added.
Annabelle will still be helping Adelaide Hills families with their property needs. During footy season you’ll see Annabelle around the grounds cheering on the boys (and girls) whilst still delivering first class service to her valued clients.
Nitschke are proud members of the Mount Barker Football Club and have been for over 20 years – just shy of the 23 years Annabelle has been part of our family. For your real estate Adelaide Hills questions, get in touch.
