About me

With financial accounting and management experience spanning across Government, non-profit and the private sector, Melinda brings a broad, rich skillset to Nitschke. She has an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and has dedicated many years to her finance role at Mount Barker Hospital, followed by a decade working in Darwin.

Melinda has now brought her husband and three children home to the community she never stopped missing. Driven by family and community, Melinda’s the perfect Nitschke fit. Her idea of a good weekend is reconnecting with her community, crafting with her daughter, entertaining friends, and exploring local culinary delights, frequenting Green Valley Strawberries Café.

Melinda also appreciates the proximity to nearby activities a Hills’ lifestyle affords – boating on the Murray River, wine tasting in the Barossa Valley, shopping in the city, and beaching at Port Elliot.

And, her dream home? A property on the outskirts of Nairne, large enough to home pet alpacas.
